My adventure through creation is often a bit of whimsy, I think. An idea occurs and sometimes I act on it. I but lots of supplies and use them once or come back to them over and over again. A song has been going through my head and images that the words create. No, not some familiar tune of the 60s or 70s. It's a song I wrote to serenade my youngest great nephew with. It's called "I'm Tye the Viking Boy".
I drew my first image yesterday. Page 1. There won't be many images. I'm not planning on creating a storybook. I am planning on creating a sort of animated book. The words will be animated. I may throw in a trick or two and it will be short. I will post it on YouTube for all the world to see and maybe hear. I'll probably sing it.
I'm working in pen and ink on white cardstock and at some point, when my work is done, I'll add color. Now I don't know if that will be markers, or crayons or gouache or digital. It will come to me.
This is the first image. Ir's not a good photo. My shadow is in the way but I'll take others.
